During the production of Chaupal’s original web-series Shahi Majra, the crew faced an extraordinary challenge – an 18-hour shoot that stretched the limits of their stamina. As the hours ticked by, exhaustion settled in, testing the resilience of every member on set. Yet, amidst the fatigue, the unwavering determination of the creative force behind the project, Director Prem Sidhu, spurred them on. With a vision in mind, he urged the team forward, making them use their last energy reserves to capture a pivotal shot.
However, the toll of such a tiring effort by the whole crew was undeniable. The crew was on the brink of exhaustion, prompting a necessary intervention. Recognizing the importance of their well-being, a collective decision was made to grant the team two days of respite, providing a much-needed breather to recharge both physically and mentally. This break proved to be instrumental, allowing the crew to return to work with renewed energy and focus, ensuring that Shahi Majra continued to unfold with the same level of precision and creativity that had become its hallmark.
